Our Team

  • Carly Westcott, RN

    RN Case Manager.

Carly has been a registered nurse since 2013. She began working as a brand new nurse on the neuro unit at St. Lukes. After a year she transitioned into pediatric home health care for 6 years where she enjoyed working with kids in the home setting.

In 2020 she decided to take a leap and with the encouragement from friends came to hospice where she found her passion as a nurse.

She chose to begin a nursing career because she loves science and thinks the human body is fascinating. She also loves people. Combining all those things, what other career would suit her better?

For Carly this is not a job, but a passion and she is honored to do what she does.

Outside of work she stays active with outdoor bootcamp, going on adventures with her family, and being a cheerleader for her kids at their sporting events.

  • Alena Woods, RN

    RN Case Manager.

Alena received her nursing education at Lone Star College and currently holds an RN license.

She chose nursing as a second career after she became her father’s full time caregiver. This is when she discovered a joy and fulfillment in caring for others. She didn’t know what type of nursing she wanted to pursue until she did a clinical rotation with hospice. She was able to shadow nurses in the field and realized that it not only challenged her on an intellectual level but also touched her heart.

This is when she decided to pursue the calling of hospice. Hospice is where her heart is and she is honored to help our patients alongside their loved ones.

She values integrity, kindness, and wisdom. Outside of work she enjoys traveling, making memories with family and friends, bonding with animals, and doing anything that challenges her creativity.

  • Adriana Cordero

    Patient Care Coordinator

Adriana first went to Atenas College in Puerto Rico and graduated with a surgical technician degree. She then went to Pontifical Catholic University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biomedical science.

She has always loved science and medicine, which led her to working in the healthcare field.

She started working in the healthcare field as a technician in the OR during the pandemic and then decided to make a big move to Texas at the beginning of 2023. She joined our team, upon moving and has been a big help in her role as Patient Care Coordinator.

She values empathy, compassion, kindness, honesty, and hard work.

In her free time, she loves spending time with her puppies, nieces, nephews, reading, and running.

  • Lauren Scott, RN, BSN

Lauren graduated with a BS in Biology and Chemistry from Xavier University of New Orleans and received her BSN from Wagner College in NYC. She did well in school and graduated with honors.

The first week on the job as an RN she lost her father and she was amazed by the kindness and support from her team. This is when she learned what it meant to be a part of a “true” hospice team that values comfort, safety, dignity, and quality care. What started out as a job, became her passion and ministry.

Lauren values teamwork and helping others through the ability she has to do what she does.

When Lauren isn’t working she loves to watch her daughters play basketball, work out, read, and spend time with friends and family.
